Our most recent, exciting news is winning at the 2nd annual "event Elements-Confectionery Creations and Tabletop Decor" sponsored by the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) on June 30, 2008. This wonderful event was held at the J.W. Marriot of Desertridge in Scottsdale, Arizona. The theme this year was Styles. The categories were Retro, Contemporary, Traditional and Vintage. This year I entered my two cakes into the categories of Retro and Contemporary. This year's winner for Retro was...(drum roll please!)...
ME!!!! Or should I say Let Them Eat Cake Inc.
And for the category of Contemporary, the runner-up...2nd place..is
You guessed it...ME!
I want to thank Deb, Liz and Mitch for all of their talents, hard work and humor for this competition! I couldn't have done it without them!
